North Shore Horse Rescue

I recently had the pleasure of volunteering to take photographs for the North Shore Horse Rescue. Their mission is to rescue and care for any unwanted horse including those that have been neglected, abused, abandoned or are at risk of going to slaughter. If the horse can be rehabilitated and adopted, they will find a loving, informed home for them. If suitable homes cannot be found, NSHR has committed itself to allowing its permanent residents to live out their lives in a safe, stress-free environment.

The photographs I took for them have been and will continue to be auctioned off at their fundraisers, and all the proceeds go to the North Shore Horse Rescue and the caring for the horses. It is wonderful and an honor to be a part of their mission! Below are some images taken, head over to my Facebook page to view more!

My Work at Jones Beach Theater

It is always great to see your own work hanging up somewhere! This summer I was given the opportunity to show some of my work at Jones Beach Theater at Nikon’s photo gallery. The images taken below were not with a great quality camera (my phone) but you can still get an idea of what the pictures are! Hope you enjoy!

Submission to B&W Magazine

I know it has been some time since I last posted, and it is a lame excuse, but work, school and personal things have had to come first before my photography.

Last year I had submitted some images to B&W Magazines 2013 Single Image photo contest. While I did not win anything, you can see my entries on their site!

Gallery Acceptance

I am excited to let you all know that one of my images has been selected to be shown at A Smith Gallery located in Johnson City, Texas. This is the first time one of my images has ever been selected for anything, so this is a very joyous moment for me! I will have to send the print image to them by August 26, and it will be a very limited archival giclée artist proof edition. As soon as I have more information, I will share. Here is the image that has been selected:
